So I just recently finished reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, so I decided to do a book review for you guys!
Harry Potter is the third book in the Harry Potter series written by J.K.Rowling. I have mixed feelings about this book. The beginning of the book was good but not perfect, I felt that it kind of dragged on for quite a while. As the book came towards the middle, more action started and I did find it more interesting. But as the ending arrived I did end up loving the book as much as I loved the first two.
Okay, so now I'm probably going to get into some spoilers, so if you feel like reading the book but haven't yet, be aware!
I think that as Harry was granted the marauder's map by Fred and Gorge, the book started getting a lot faster and more interesting. The book also explained so much more than the movie. I feel that if you have just watched the movie then you definitely need to read the book to understand how everything was going on. I really enjoyed this book because it gave me a clearer insight into the past and the death of his parents. I also think that this book gave so much information about Harry's' father back when he was at school.
Snapes' actions in this book is highly appalling, I think that he needs to realize that Harry has not done anything to Snape and he needs to get over the past and forget about what happened between himself and James Potter.
I also liked this book because it explained Azkaban more and more about the Dementors. I would definitely not want to be taken into Azkaban or get the Dementors' "kiss". I really liked this book because it gave lots of details about the sweets of the magical world.
I was also filled with joy when we find out the truth about Sirius Black, but I won't spill the beans before you have read it!
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed it in a different way to the first two, but I did definitely really like it, and I still wish that Hogwarts would send me my letter!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post.
